Install Your First App

Get your Beetle S1 glowing in 5 minutes. Follow the steps below to install and run your first app.

Step 1: Download an App​

Open the App List & Installation page or the official GitHub repository, choose a light app you like and download it.

Step 2: Upload to Beetle S1​

Connect Beetle S1 to your computer via USB, then upload the downloaded app to Beetle S1.

Step 3: Connect the LED Strip​

Connect the LED strip correctly to the Beetle S1 port. For wiring instructions, see Compatible LEDs & Wiring.

Step 4: Enjoy the App​

Power on and watch the downloaded app's colorful lights on your LED strip.
